Follow this road over a narrow stone bridge and continue on for approx. 1/2 a mile through the village and along Hay Lane. Just after the last house there is a right hand bend before a steep hill (watch for the National Park sign), the cottages are down the private road that branches off to the left from this bend. this is a narrow road and also a bridleway so please drive slowly. Pass East Farm (first building on the right) and carry straight on to the cottages which are situated on the right just past East Farm |
Approaching Scarborough from the south or west, follow the signs for Whitby (A171). The A171 skirts the western side of Scarborough (Scalby Road) passing Scarborough Hospital. After about two miles there are traffic lights, opposite Proudfoot's supermarket, shortly followed by the Rosette public house. Turn left along Hackness Road just before the Rosette and follow the directions across.
From the north, on the A171, after crossing the river, turn right at the Rosette and follow the directions across. You can of course contact us for further directions and remember to take our contact number with you should you get lost !
